
The third graders have to do a pioneer project every year. I think it is really neat this community really makes sure that the kids think about our heritage and they do all kinds of things to remind them of it! So we decided to do homemade
soap for her project, so this is Bay
stirring the lye and the water.

You mix that with lard.

Then you have to cook it for two hours. I don't think she really thought I would make her do it but I did and she loved it as you can tell!!!!! Memories.....

Hey Baylee....I hope you saved some soap for me! Aunt Patti and I make it every now and then. I like to put goat's milk and coconut oil or olive oil in it! I love you baby! Grammie :)
