Baylee's 4-H project!

Baylee is in 4-H this year and they get to do a presentation on anything they choose (as long as it has to do with horses) so she decided to do her project on the Tennessee Walking Horse. She had to research the history of the breed and the conformation, and their different gaits. They then have to present in in front of the two judges and be judged and scored.

She did a great job I was so proud of her she seems so little still sometimes and she did probably better that I could have done!!! The judges were surprised this was her first year and she didn't skip a beat! She was on cloud 9 when she was done because she knew she did a good job and she was awarded the red second place ribbon! She certainly is growing up!

After it was all over we figured we had the horse spit shined and Bay all dalled up in her cowgirl gettup so we took advantage of it and took these super cute pictures of her on Millie! Aren't they beautiful! Great job BAY!!!!! We love you!

Trip up North to see Family and Friends!

Deb Josie and Mandy outside Olive Garden after we had Lunch there Mandy loved it there!
Me and the kids with our other lovely friend from Australia, Marge. She was so sweet and I am so glad that my kids got to meet her as well! She will always hold a special place in my heart!!!

While we were there we got to go see Uncle Greg and Aunt Kelly and swim in their pool and Kelly made us an awesome dinner! We love them to and it has been so much fun getting to know them better!

This pic is from our lunch in park city it was delicious! Thanks Dad and Deb!!! We love you!

OK back to Greg and Kelly's!

We also went to the Buxton Family reunion while we were up there and got to see family that I haven't seen in years! Good times!

Aunt Joyce is a very special person to me also so it was fun for her to see my little family (minus Buddy) she had never seen Luke so I'm glad we all got to spend a little time with her!

Baylee, Aunt Alice, Beau, Luke, Someone?, and Cousin Julie!

The kids and I at the Graves of my Grandparents Bernice and Alfred Buxton!

Our time with the crazy Australians!

Wow, as you will all see we really have been so busy already this summer. But we were so luck to have our Dear Friends Pete, Mandy, and Josie from Australia come and visit us! Pete has been dear do our Family my entire life my Dad baptized him when he was on his mission and he has kept in touch all throughout the years. It was even more fun however for them to see our little family now since I haven't seen him since I was about 13 years old. I have changed a bit since then!
This is Baylee, Mandy, Luke, Beau, Josie, and Pete!

We got a chance to go with them to Bryce Canyon it was a little cold but it was still so much fun the kids and I had never been there either so we were way excited. And I cannot fail to mention the wonderful songs that Pete and Mandy taught the boys on the drive there. They have new words to I hope they call me on a mission. It is now and forever will be "I hope they send me to Australia so I can see Pete and Mandy too" It is really cute to hear them sing it!!

We laughed the entire time hiking through Bryce because Luke forgot his belt and had to hang onto his pants the whole time, or we all had a nice view of superman!

I love this Picture of the boys!! Classic!

We threw the kids in jail! Not long enough if you ask me!!!!

Pete and Mandy got a little crazy while they were here!!

Those dang kids!!

We had a blast as you can see and will forever cherish the friendships we all made and renewed while they were here!! And my boys will forever miss their new best friend "PETE"!!!!

T-Ball and Piano

We put Beau in T-Ball this year and he was sooooooo excited! All he ever wanted to do was go outside and play ball!! He was actually pretty goos for a little kid he has one heck of an arm and every time he hit the ball he hit it past all the kids in the back!!! It was so much fun and I think it was really good for Beau to have something just for him!

Bay also took piano this year and she did really good too! She never ever complained about practicing (yeah right). Oh well she really does enjoy doing it and feels really good to know a few fun songs that she can play for everyone. This is a video of her Piano recital. GREAT job Bay and Beau!!! I have great kids!
