We love coupons!

OK, I know that I haven't always been a frugal person but you know.... times are tough. SO, I have really gotten into the whole sale watching, coupon cutting, money saving thing you know!!! So I was so proud of my self today I went to Albertson's sale to day and got all this food, 9 boxes of cereal, 10 loaves of Grandma sycamore bread, 6 boxes of Betty Crocker fruit snacks, and 5 warm delights deserts all for ...................$27 I saved $78 It was awesome!!! I walked out of there feeling this total rush!!! This has been really fun and I just hope that even when business picks up and I can be smart and save all that money!!!

Bay's Pioneer project!

The third graders have to do a pioneer project every year. I think it is really neat this community really makes sure that the kids think about our heritage and they do all kinds of things to remind them of it! So we decided to do homemade soap for her project, so this is Bay stirring the lye and the water.

You mix that with lard.

Then you have to cook it for two hours. I don't think she really thought I would make her do it but I did and she loved it as you can tell!!!!! Memories.....

Valentines Day!!

OK I know that We are like way past Valentines Day but I haven't updated our Blog FOREVER!! Anyway, Buddy got me these beautiful flowers. They are still so beautiful today almost all of the Lillie's have opened up now! Roses would've been dead by now so I love my flowers! We went to dinner with the kids and Lloyd and Linda in Cedar. It was a great day!

Vegas trip!

A few pics before we went to church on Sunday. All the kids looked so good and I really hadn't taken very many pics while we were there so I couldn't resist!

We always have a blast with Scott and Monica when we are there!! They really are more like family than friends! The kids had a blast too, Beau and Luke got pretty dang good on their Wii and they are obsessed with bowling now!

They fed us so good too!! We had some awesome steaks that Monica Marinated and I'm pretty sure Scott cooked! They also took us to a great Italian restaurant and we had some yummy Italian Ice cream! Thanks to Scott and Monica for showing us such a great time and being such great friends!!

Week of fun!

We have had a dang fun week this last week My Dad and Deb came down to visit on Saturday and Meg and Trevor and Trevor's Bro Matt came Sunday.
Dad left Monday and Megan and Trevor (we thought they would never leave) Ha, HA, stayed for New Year's and left Thursday. We played games, Deb taught me how to make her delicious rolls, and that I need to pay a little more attention when I do, and Buddy Trevor and Matt had a blast bunny hunting. Buddy brought one home and cooked it up for them so we made sure to take pictures of them all enjoying their hillbilly dinner!! Welcome to Parowan!! We had a blast and are sad that it is all over and we will probably sleep for a week now to recover! Come again!!!!

Trip up North

I just had to put this on our blog. On the 13th of December we were able to go up north to be a part of my Sisters Special Day! Megan was sealed to her sweet little family in the Bountiful Temple. It was such an awesome experience to be there with all of our family and have them bring sweet little Kash into the room dressed in white! This was also the first time I had ever been in the temple with my Grandparents, so that made it really special too! I just wanted to let Trevor and Megan know how proud of the I am and they are awesome!

Our Christmas!

We had a great Christmas this year!!! The kids got everything they asked for and then some. Beau and Luke got Skateboards, a leapster and a Vmotion. Baylee got a camera and a scooter.

We have a family tradition with all the Millett clan to go up to the mountains and cut down our tree. It has been so much fun to do and this year we got a pretty good one!

All Puppies accounted for!!!!

As you all know we have had the "joy" of raising 13 wild puppies. I told Buddy the other day that in some ways this has been so much fun and in other ways this has been a "Poopy" nightmare! In one day we had Beau who trying to help let all the puppies out into my basement for an hour and a half and I am sure you can all imagine what 13 puppies can do unsupervised in a basement for that amount of time. Needless to say the carpets HAVE to be cleaned when this is all over! Then my sweet little Luke got dog poop on his shoe and proceeded to walk down my stairs into Baylee's room and tried to then wipe off the poop into her carpet and when that didn't work he took his shoe off and wiped the rest of it off on her bed. I LOVE my kids but that day almost was their last!! Any way the good news.... they all have homes and will all be gone Friday the12th (with the exception of one who we are saving for a friend till Christmas)! HALLELUJAH! Buddy wants to do this again in the spring so I had to post this so that I could come back and remember how much fun it really was. The Puppies really are so dang cute and we will miss them a little when their gone!!!

And then there were 14!!!!!!!!

Well here they are and here is the rest of the story.

Our sweet innocent dog Lexi became impregnated with the town mutt. A discrace I know however we still love her!

Here's sweet # 1 Buddy named him spot.

Then came two aren't they cute they look like their mommy thank goodnes!

Then four.....

Then Seven......... not done yet....

Then 11 and I thought for sure we were done so at 11:30 I went to bed after a grouling day being Grandma. Lexi did a great job she was so tired that the she could hardly get the 11th one out without help so I thought "there's no way she could have more right?" Wrong.. this morning we started cleaning up the mess and moving puppies and as we did there was 14 total she had 3 more after I had gone to bed! What a good Mom she is and I was so proud her and can't believe that she had the strength to do it!! Good job lexi!!
